A small practice with fewer projects, deeper attention, and a foot in both cultures.
From Fukuoka, I work with hospitality groups, publishers, and brands that want the editorial rigour of European design and the quiet sophistication of Japanese aesthetics — in one set of hands.
My positioning sits between two markets. In Japan, most premium studios speak the local visual code beautifully but rarely make it travel. In Europe, the Japanese aesthetic is often fantasised, rarely lived. I work in the space between, with the discipline of a French editorial culture and ten years of daily practice in Japan. Prices below reflect this hybrid position : higher than freelance, smaller than agency, with the studio attention of either. See the work →
01 · Way of working
Depth over speed. Sense over slogan. I take fewer projects per year because each one needs time to be understood before it can be designed. That is the only way I know how to do the work I want to be known for.
02 · Three principal areas
Where I take full responsibility for the result.
These are the long-form engagements where the practice does its best work. Each is an end-to-end project with strategic thinking, art direction and execution under one hand.

03 · Special projects
Innovation & R&D.
For brands launching something new, projects that don't fit a category, or ventures where the brief is still being drawn. I bring fresh eyes, cross-cultural perspective, and the discipline of working with what's not yet defined. These projects don't follow a standard package — pricing is built from scope.
- Cross-cultural ventures bridging Japan and Europe
- New product lines requiring identity & editorial work simultaneously
- Hybrid projects combining brand, book, photography and exhibition
- Strategic consulting for entering the Japanese or French market
- One-off cultural projects with strong editorial component

Three movements.
No project starts with design. Every engagement, regardless of size, follows the same three-part approach. The longer the project, the longer the first movement.
Listen.
Conversation, reading, observation. Understanding the brand from inside out, its history, its competitors, its quiet ambitions. No deliverable yet, but the foundation of everything that follows. One to three weeks.
Construct.
Strategic direction, naming, visual exploration, typographic choices. Two or three creative routes presented and discussed, narrowed to one, then refined. The intellectual core of the work. Four to ten weeks.
Deliver.
